This course is designed for business people and company receptionists  who need to improve their English for use on the telephone. The content is based on authentic business situations with dialogues spoken by British, American and other speakers of English.

The course is designed for self-study, but is also an ideal addition to teacher-based classes. It offers up to 50 hours of active practice for students at an elementary  to intermediate level.

Telephoning English

  • Record your own voice one sentence at a time and compare with the above

  • Point and click on any word to get a thorough grammar and usage support
  • Role play a the different characters
  • Select from and listen to an additional 200 phrases often used on the telephone 
  • Listen to the alphabet, ordinal numbers, cardinal numbers, titles, etc.
  • Print out dialogues in English and your own language
  • Print out 100 page workbook (pdf format)
